Terms
Ticket Terms
These are the terms on which O’Sullivan & Partners Kft. (“we”, “us”, “O&P”) sells tickets to The State of O’Sullivan’s Law, a one-day conference in London on 23 February 2027 (“the Conference”). By booking a ticket you accept them, for yourself and for anyone you book for.
01
Your Ticket
Each ticket is for one named person and admits them to the Conference. Every ticket has its own number; we check names against a list at the door, with the number as a cross-check. We may adjust the running order, speakers and timings without this affecting your right to attend.
02
Payment
Tickets are paid for by card when you book, through Stripe. A ticket is confirmed once payment has gone through; you receive it by email, and Stripe sends the receipt.
03
Passing a Ticket On
You may pass your ticket to someone else at any time before the day, free of charge, using the link in your ticket email. The new holder is sent the ticket, and your link stops working.
04
Refunds
Ask for a refund using the link in your ticket email. Refunds are made to the card used to pay, once we have confirmed them.
- 28 days or more before the Conference: a full refund.
- From 28 to 14 days before the Conference: half the price.
- In the last 14 days: no refund, but you may pass the ticket on.
- If we cancel the Conference, or move it to a date you cannot make: a full refund.
05
Complimentary Tickets
A complimentary ticket is for the guest named on it. If you cannot come, please give the place up using the link in your ticket email, or pass it to a colleague.
06
Changes We Might Make
We may change the venue, speakers or running order where reasonably necessary. If we change the date or venue in a way that prevents you attending, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
07
Conduct
The venue’s rules (dress included) apply on the day. We may refuse admission, or ask you to leave, if your conduct is disruptive, unlawful, or puts others at risk. No refund is due in these circumstances.
08
Photography & Filming
The Conference may be photographed and filmed. If you would rather not appear, tell a member of staff on the day.
09
Your Data
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Notice. Booking a ticket does not sign you up to marketing; that is a separate choice on the booking form. If you book for someone else, please make sure they are happy for us to have their details for the Conference.
10
Liability
You attend the Conference at your own risk. We are not liable for loss or damage except where caused by our negligence, and nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11
Force Majeure
If an event outside our reasonable control prevents the Conference from going ahead as planned, we will offer you another date or a full refund.
12
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer living in the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law where you live.
